OK, OK, we know that the technical side of things isn’t everyone’s cup of tea – some people find it about as much fun as a visit to the dentist. On the other hand, though, there are people who do like to know what’s going on under the bonnet, and it’s for them that we’re writing this blog post. It explains what we’ve been doing to for2 recently, and why. We hope it will help to emphasise the fact that we have exciting plans for the site, with lots of new features on the development roadmap.
At for2, we recognise that not everyone is the same: different members use the site in different ways. Some people, for example, like to take things slowly – they log in just every now and then, have a browse and perhaps send a message or two. Others prefer to be more frequent visitors, logging in at least once a day and sending a higher volume of messages. That’s why we make a point of offering two different ways of being a full member of for2 – by purchasing either a ‘Points Pack’ or a ‘Communications Pack’. Another great new feature has been added to for2. A feature that, as far as we are aware, you won’t find on any other dating site, it allows you to contact any other member, at any time, completely free. It’s the perfect way to break the ice with someone you like the look of, or to prompt someone to tell you more about themselves, or to ask any one of a number of other questions. At for2 we’re always looking to add new and fun features. It’s what helps to make us a little different from other dating sites out there. But it’s not ALL about adding new features – we’re also always trying to improve the features we already have – to make the site even more powerful and easy to use. That’s why, for example, we added our Private Albums function – all dating sites have photo albums, but how many have a Private photo facility? Very few, is the answer. The latest feature we’ve improved is our already powerful Search function – because, now, we’ve added a QuickSearch feature.
Consisting of eight separate forums, each one dedicated to a different ”category” of discussion, the for2 forums offer something for everyone, from those who want to exchange trivia and share jokes, through those who want a serious debate on the issues of the day, to those who want to promote an event.
